This is a family run pet and feed store. The employees are friendly and helpful and will answer all your questions. They have all types of animals for sale, from the barn yard to the household pet. They also have some animals that are for display only. Like their two marmosets and Charlie the parrot. It is a fun place to take my daughter just to look around. They take in unwanted animals to resell, also.
This store has kids workshops, flock swaps and low cost vet clinics on the weekends.
I love this store and I buy all my feed and most of my animals from this store. That being said, animals bought there should be brought to the vet to be wormed as soon as possible.

The Full Run Down

This K-Mart is fairly big but it does not have many grocery items. This makes it aggravating if you need to one stop shop. The store is bright and clean and well organized. The prices are higher than Walmart by quite a bit. One benefit of shopping here is they have awesome clearance. The customer service is terrible. When I ask questions I am likely to get an eye roll before a response. Returning merchandise is easy. The lines tend to be long and slow. Still, there are times when I just want to avoid all the people at Wal-mart which is when I usually stop here.

This thrift store raises money for Lee County Schools. The volunteers working here are generally parents of school children. This store is very clean and organized. They have a Facebook page that highlights some of their stuff. PTO thrift store carries a varied selection of donated items. This is my favorite thrift store for uniform shirts for my daughter.  The prices are high in my opinion.  Also, there is one employee I have seen being abrupt with customers. I do not buy from them often.

This thrift store has good prices. They generally  have the most furniture. The store could be better organized and the employees could be more helpful helpful. This is my favorite thrift store to find good books. I have made a quite a few surprise finds there. This is my favorite thrift store in Sanford.

Divine finds is a clean and well organized thrift store. The volunteers working here are friendly and helpful. They have a nice selection of donated goods. This is my favorite thrift store for clothing. I like that they have a Facebook page where they list daily deals and show pictures of the store for a little pre-shopping at home.  I think their prices are on the high side but not outrageous. They just recently added credit cards to their payment options. The profits are used to help Lee County's only no kill animal shelter CARA.

The Full Rundown

This is a small Walmart. I can usually find what I am looking for but not a lot of selection . The customer service is almost non existent on the floor. While stocking during night hours the employees can be down right rude.  The cashiers do their jobs with an efficient lack of enthusiasm. I have found it very easy to return merchandise. 

The Walmart Deli has a hot bar with very good food. Fried chicken and shrimp and other picnic type foods. The prices are great making this a wonderful carry out option for busy families.

Inside of the store is a pharmacy, vision center, bank, hair and nail salon, and a Subway Restaurant. I am not including them as part of this review.

The Full Run Down

This was a surprisingly upscale restaurant for Sanford. Great food and attentive service. Food came out quickly. I had calamari as an appetizer, it was very fresh. My entree was the flounder special. It was as beautiful as it was tasty. There is no kids menu, so my daughter, age 9, ordered the hamburger special. There is a new special burger every day. She loved it but it was huge. My husband ordered the shrimp and grits. It looked fantastic. It tasted wonderful. The portion was on the small side. They had a great selection of beers. They have a full bar.
